Preparation. We first remove any silicones, conditioners, and other contaminants by cleaning the leather seat surface. We then make the surface tacky with specialized material, to open up the porous surface for adhesion purposes

Repair. If necessary, we apply a flexible filler in the deep cracks of the damaged leather surface. This material is specialized for automotive leather. The material is allowed to dry, then is smoothed over in preparation of a smooth finish.

Resurface. We apply a slight texture to blend the seat repair with the rest of the seat. Then we colormatch the seat with specialized water-based dye, to give it that OEM factory finish!

Finish. We then provide a flexible clear coat, that provides the correct factory sheen. Most leather typically takes a low luster finish. Then we finalize the repair by applying leather conditioner to the entire leather seat. You then have a leather seat in new condition, satisfaction guaranteed!

dot  Vinyl

Preparation. We first remove any silicones, conditioners, or any other contaminants by thoroughly cleaning the seat material.

Repair. We apply a special repair compound to the damaged area, that has the consistency of peanut butter. Then we use a heating tool to heat the compound, which becomes a piece of manufactured vinyl! While the material is still hot, a texture pad is pressed on the patch, so that it will have the same texture as the rest of the seat. There are no seams! The material blends perfectly into the rest of the vinyl material.

Finish. After the repair has been blended perfectly into the seat material, it is re-colored using specialized dye, to give it an OEM finish that matches the factory finish perfectly. A clearcoat is applied, then the final conditioning stage. At this point, nobody will even notice that you had your seat (or armrest, door, etc.) damaged!!

dot  Fabric burn holes (cigarette damage)

Preparation. For all materials, including velour, sport cloth or various fabrics, the surface area is first thoroughly cleaned and prepared by removing all contaminants from the seat.

Repair. For cigarette damage, specialized color-matched cloth fibers (much like small lint) is mixed with a repair glue and inserted into the damaged area. The material is then textured.

Finish. Steps are taken to make sure that the repair is properly color-matched and blends into the seat material. Durability is then ensured by a topcoat of clear glue over the area.

dot  Fabric and Carpet stains

Much depends on the type of fabric and the type of stain. In all cases, attempts are made to remove the stain first. Red stains require a steam process that involves a catalyst material, and is very effective. We use time-tested techniques to remove various stains. If the stain cannot be fully removed, then a light, permanent topcoat of color-matched dye is used to make the stain go away.

We use upholstery-grade thread to hand-stitch materials. You never see the thread, as a 'double-blind' stitch method is used. Often, seat seams that have opened up can be repaired to look just like the factory seam. In addition, we install kick pads underneath the driver's foot pedals, whenever a hole has been worn into the carpet material.

dot  Dash and Plastics

Preparation. The material is thoroughly cleaned and prepared for the adhesion of repair materials.

Repair. The repair technique varies according to the damage. We can use a combination of heat repair, catalyst compounds and fillers, and texturing tools to make the repair blend into the existing factory texture.

Finish. We always ensure that you have a factory OEM finish, by using color-matched dyes to finish the work. Afterwards, a flexible clear-coat is applied to provide the correct sheen.

dot  Deodorizations

We use enzyme-based materials to remove the source of the odor. If it is smoke damage, the seat materials, doors, headliner and other surfaces are treated. If the damage is pet odors, the carpeting and seats receive special treatment. Of course, the owner is responsible to remove all pet hair first! In each case, the car is then fogged with special materials that work on the vehicle materials long after we have left.
